WHAT WE HAVE BEEN UP TO:
During the COVID-19 closure period we have been using our time wisely to come up with ways to make the IMC experience as great as possible for our students.
IMC Online has been churning out hundreds of training videos for students including the entire Martial Arts syllabus in video format and heaps of classes that you can do at home to keep fit and perfect your craft. Videos will continue to be added to the library even after our re-opening, so if you’re interested in seeing what IMC Online has to offer, simply contact us at 0408 225 391 to sign up.
We have also been renovating all of our dojos, but IMC Kemps Creek has had a big makeover with an all new interior in the club that is guaranteed to give everyone a motivational boost when we get back to training. The front carpark is also getting re-laid with fresh asphalt and line markings for easy parking without confusion. The new carpark will also feature a high-powered spotlight for safety at night.
HOW WE ARE KEEPING OUR STUDENTS SAFE DURING RE-OPENING:
Our certified instructors will be taking all necessary precautions to ensure we can train together safely. We have disinfected all of our equipment, walls and floors in the dojo and there are hand sanitiser stations set up in several places around the gym. We will also be adhering to 1.5m social distancing in the dojo and 4 metres squared training areas provided for each student in the training area as per guidelines.
Following every class, instructors will be disinfecting any equipment that is used and all classes will be completely non-contact until further notice. We understand these are not the ideal training conditions but we are SO EXCITED to get back to doing what we do best!
In fact, we are giving everyone 2 WEEKS OF FREE TRAINING when we return to ensure everyone has a chance to fall back in love with Martial Arts and get back into their normal schedule.
WHAT WE NEED YOU TO DO WHEN YOU ATTEND CLASS:
If you haven’t already, you should expect a call from one of our instructors to nominate the classes that you will be attending. Due to class size limits that have been enforced by the state government, we require students to only attend their nominated classes until further notice. If you are unable to attend one of your nominated classes feel free to give us a call and we will try to reschedule into another class to make up for it.
Please use the bathroom at home before coming to class and attend class already in uniform as change rooms will be closed and bathrooms only used for emergencies.
All students will be required to wash their hands upon entering and leaving the dojo with the provided hand sanitiser. Also, students will have to wait until everyone from the previous class has left the dojo until the next class is able to enter. Please also be aware that there will be very limited parent seating available and parents may be asked to remain outside or in their cars during class times so that we do not exceed the permitted amount of people in the dojo.
